Puppet making

They proved to be very creative.

The children had great fun last week making different character puppets from jack and the bean stalk. 

Decoration Afternoon

What a lot of fun and mess!!

We were very busy in Hedgehogs - a few technical problems with our glitter swirls was rectified with them becoming baubles!

The candy cane mice were a big success- we hope they make it home!

All ages enjoyed finger print painting a tree.

And many lolly pop sticks were transformed into snowmen and Christmas trees.

Leaf printing

The children used the leaves that they had collected from outside to make leaf prints.  They painted the back of the leaves and then pressed them on to white paper.

Measurement

This week Woodpeckers and Hedgehogs have been learning all about measurement! 

We have been putting items in height order and have been measuring items using cubes, paper clips and lego bricks. 

We have also been measuring using a ruler.
