Healthy Teeth

We had a lovely lady visit us from the NHS to talk to us about our teeth and how we can look after them.

We talked about wobbly teeth and even watched Peters tooth wobble!

We talked about different foods. We sorted foods into fruit and vegetables.

We talked about the different textures foods feel like in our mouth - smooth, crunchy and chewy.

We learnt about babies teeth being hidden in their gums and how our teeth grow.

Our teeth are good at crunching, chewing and tearing just like a lion, donkey and a monkey!

We loved meeting the special dinosaur who made us laugh as she taught us how to clean her teeth! She told us what equipment we would need - not a hair brush with sausage and mash but a tooth brush with toothpaste!!!! We looked at how to move the tooth brush and how to ensure we get all the teeth!!! We remembered to spit out the toothpaste but not to rinse our mouth as the toothpaste that stays can help keep our teeth strong while we sleep!
Mrs Clarke was very pleased with how well behaved we were are how carefully we listened.
